
Wade Takes 4th in Junior Heptathlon at USATFC

EUGENE, Ore. - University of Maryland sophomore Peyton Wade racked up a score 5,123 to place fourth in the junior division of the heptathlon at the USA Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field Friday.
Wade's point total represents the third-best performance in Maryland history and a new personal best. Kaylee Hinton, competing unattached, won the event.
Wade took the high jump portion of the competition with a mark of 5-9.25. The Aurora, Ill., native had never before cracked the 5,000-point total in the heptathlon.
