COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Seniors Kristina Hovsepyan and Alexandra Stanova will be traveling to the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York for the 2016 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships.
The two qualified for National Indoors after winning the doubles bracket at ITA Atlantic Regionals in October. Their title run included knocking off the top overall seed from VCU.
The tournament, which runs Nov. 3-6, is the fourth national championship of the 2016-17 ITA National Tournament calendar. Earlier this fall, national champions were crowned at the Men's and Women's All-American Championships, the Oracle ITA Masters and ITA Oracle Cup.

Play will begin on Thursday morning with the main draw. Stanova and Hovsepyan will be facing Ellyse Hamlin and Samantha Harris of Duke. The winner will advance to face the fourth overall seed, Mayar Ahmed and Christine Maddox of Pepperdine. The loser will move into one of the two consolation rounds, which begin on Friday.
