Spotlight: Stinnett, Wade Named All Stars
After standout starts to their campaigns, former Terps Jake Stinnett and LaMonte Wade were chosen to play in their league's respective All-Star Games. Stinnett took the diamond for the Carolina League's best as they took on the California League All-Stars, while Wade suited up in his home ballpark in Cedar Rapids in the Midwest League All-Star Game.
Stinnett tossed a scoreless seventh inning his All-Star game appearances. He started the second half with a flourish on Sunday, tossing eight innings of one-run ball. The outing represented the longest by a Pelican hurler this season and lowered Stinnett's ERA to 3.36.

Wade has terrorized Midwest League pitching throughout the year, and was 1-for-2 with two RBI and a run scored in the All-Star Game. He was promoted to advanced Single-A Fort Myers, but will start on the seven-day disabled list as he nurses a hamstring injury.
Brett Cecil – Toronto Blue Jays
Stats: 16 G, 10.1 IP, 5.23 ERA, 9 K.
Overview: Cecil tossed an inning with two Ks in his first rehab outing in Single-A Dunedin.
Justin Maxwell – Pawtucket Red Sox (Boston Red Sox)
Stats: .224 AVG, .317 OBP, .329 SLG, 7 2B, 5 HR, 26 R, 25 RBI
Overview: Maxwell has been a mainstay in the Pawtucket lineup this season and has shown power with five home runs and seven doubles.
Adam Kolarek – Durham Bulls (Tampa Bay Rays)
Stats (w/ Durham): 0-1, 3.54 ERA, 20.1 IP, 20 K, .159 AVG
Overview: Kolarek continues to flourish out of the pen for the Bulls, appearing 18 times for the Triple-A affiliate. He tossed a scoreless frame in his last outing on June 25.
Jimmy Reed – Springfield Cardinals (St. Louis Cardinals)
Overview: Currently out due to injury.
Jake Stinnett – Myrtle Beach Pelicans (Chicago Cubs)

Stats: 6-3, 3.36 ERA, 72.1 IP, 58 K, .232 AVG
Overview: Stinnett moved to 6-3 on the season after tossing eight innings of one-run ball with five Ks in his last outing on June 26. Stinnett now sits with an ERA of 3.36 and has struck out 58 in 72.1 IP. The 2014 MLB Draft pick was a Carolina League All-Star and tossed a scoreless frame in the All-Star Game on June 21.
LaMonte Wade – Fort Myers Miracle (Minnesota Twins)

Stats (w/Cedar Rapids): 56 G, .280 AVG, .410 OBP, .396 SLG, 32 R, 6 2B, 3 3B, 4 HR, 27 RBI, 44 BB, 27 K, 5 SB
Overview: Wade started in the Midwest League All-Star game in his home ballpark at Cedar Rapids and went 1-for-2 with two RBI and a run scored. For his performance over the first half, Wade was subsequently called up to High-A Fort Myers, where he will start on the seven-day disabled list.
Brandon Lowe – Bowling Green Hot Rods (Tampa Bay Rays)
Stats: 55 G, .253 AVG, .364 OBP, .306 SLG, 6 2B, 2 3B, 31 R, 22 RBI
Overview: Lowe has been hot in his last three games with five hits, three RBI and two runs scored. He was a menace at the plate on June 19 against Fort Wayne when he walked a remarkable five times in a single game.
Zach Morris – Lakewood BlueClaws (Philadelphia Phillies)
Stats: 3-1, 3 SV, 36.2 IP, 3.19 ERA, 30 K, 17 BB, .252 AVG
Overview: Morris has been a reliable bullpen arm for the BlueClaws with 28 appearances so far this season. He has emerged as Lakewood's closer recently, with three saves in his last three appearances.
Jose Cuas – Brevard County Manatees (Milwaukee Brewers)
Stats: .186 AVG, .285 OBP, .255 SLG, 3 HR, 4 2B, 13 RBI, 22 R, 3 SB
Overview: Cuas has started to find his power stroke for the Manatees and has upped his home run total to three over the past week.
Jake Drossner – Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Milwaukee Brewers)
Stats: 2-5, 44.1 IP, 4.06 ERA, 14 G, 8 GS, 1 SV, 44 K, 26 BB, .270 AVG
Overview: Drossner has filled a variety of roles for the Timber Rattlers this season. He picked up his first save of the season on June 16 after tossing three innings with three strikeouts.
Kevin Martir – Tri-City ValleyCats (Houston Astros)
Stats: .167 AVG, .375 OBP, .167 SLG,
Overview: Martir has made two appearances for Tri-City and was 1-for-3 in his last start on June 25.
Kevin Mooney – Auburn Doubledays (Washington Nationals)
Stats: 4.0 IP, 2.25 ERA, 3 K, 1 BB, .154 AVG.
Overview: Mooney gave up a run in his first outing of the season on June 19, but has been spotless since, working three innings of scoreless relief to lower his ERA to 2.25 over four outings.
Alex Robinson – Elizabethton Twins (Minnesota Twins)
Stats: 4.2 IP, 0.00 ERA, 8 K, .133 AVG
Overview: After coming out of the bullpen in his first professional season, Robinson debuted as a starter for Elizabethton in the Appalachian League and struck out eight over four and 2/3 scoreless innings.
Rob Galligan – Missoula Osprey (Arizona Diamondbacks)
Stats: 4.1 IP, 8.31 ERA, 2 K
Overview: Galligan has his most successful outing to date on June 27 when he tossed two inning of scoreless relief against Helena.
