Baseball Golf Classic Set for Oct. 14

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The 13th Annual Maryland Baseball Golf Classic is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 14 at the University of Maryland Golf Course.
The annual event serves as a fundraiser for the Maryland baseball program. The tournament is scheduled for a 1 p.m. shotgun start with several contests included such as the closest to the pin contest and the longest drive contest.
A round of golf and access to the buffet dinner, open bar and silent auction is $150 per person or $600 for a foursome. A donation of $50 includes all of the above except the round of golf. Foursomes must be registered and paid in full by Oct. 9.
In addition to the items listed above, a golf entry fee also includes an exclusive Under Armour t-shirt and hat, a Maryland tee and ball package, on-course refreshments, snacks, dinner and open bar.
Sponsorship opportunities, some starting for as low as $100 are also available.
Maryland made its second consecutive appearances in the Big Ten Tournament and finished 30-27 in 2016 after winning consecutive NCAA Regional Championships in 2014 and 2015.
