COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 22 Maryland men's basketball team travels to Minnesota for a battle with the Golden Gophers on Saturday at 2:15 p.m.

• Melo Trimble scored 17 points to lift No. 22 Maryland to a 67-55 win over Rutgers its last time out. Freshman Kevin Huerter added 11 points, eight rebounds and a career-high six assists.
• The Terps - who have won five games in a row - have matched the best start through 20 games in program history (1998-99).
• With his 17-point outing against the Scarlet Knights, Melo Trimble passed former teammate Jake Layman to capture the No. 18 slot on Maryland's career scoring list. The junior guard has scored in double figures in 18 games this season. With four made free throws vs. Rutgers, Trimble moved to No. 3 on Maryland's career made free throws list, passing Adrian Branch. He needs 14 to jump Len Bias at No. 2. He is five assists away from becoming one of only five players in Maryland history to record 1,400 points, 350 assists and 100 steals, joining Juan Dixon, Greivis Vasquez, Johnny Rhodes and Walt Williams.
• Maryland is a perfect 4-0 on the road this season and 6-0 in games away from the XFINITY Center. The Terps are shooting .489 on the road while holding opponents to a .388 field goal percentage. The play of guards Melo Trimble and Anthony Cowan have been crucial to the Terps' success on the road. The duo are averaging a combined 30.3 points and 8.25 assists per game in the Terps' four road contests.
• Since joining the Big Ten Conference, Maryland is second in the league in conference wins, behind only Wisconsin. The Terps are 32-11 while Wisconsin boasts a 33-9 record in conference play.
• Justin Jackson was named Big Ten Co-Freshman of the Week on Monday. Maryland's rookie trio of Jackson, Anthony Cowan and Kevin Huerter are averaging a combined 29.2 points and 15.1 rebounds per contest while each averaging more than 26 minutes per game.
