
Big Ten Announces Schedule Change, TV Designations

ROSEMONT, Ill. – The Big Ten has announced that the Sunday, March 5 Michigan State at Maryland men's basketball game has been added as a BTN “wildcard” game for Saturday, March 4.
If CBS Sports selects Michigan State at Maryland, then the game will be played on Sunday, March 5 at 4:30 p.m. ET. If CBS selects either Minnesota at Wisconsin, or Purdue at Northwestern, then BTN will televise the Michigan State at Maryland game on Saturday, March 4 at 2 p.m. ET or Sunday, March 5 at 6 p.m.
CBS Sports will make its selection no later than Tuesday, Feb. 21.
In addition, the conference announced television designations for the Terps' game versus Ohio State on Feb. 11 at XFINITY Center and at Wisconsin on Feb. 19. Maryland will host the Buckeyes at 4 p.m. on ESPN and will face the Badgers at 1 p.m. on CBS.
Maryland (19-2, 7-1) – ranked No. 17 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll – travels to Ohio State Tuesday.
