COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Redshirt sophomore wrestler Josh Ugalde has been named the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week after his performance in Maryland's first match of the season against Rutgers.
Ugalde knocked off No. 13 Jordan Pagano on Saturday. His 8-3 (maj. dec.) victory was his first over a ranked opponent in his career as a Terrapin. Ugalde was one of three Terps to pick up wins on the afternoon.
Maryland wrestling will open its home schedule on Sunday when the team takes on Campbell and George Mason at the XFINITY Center Pavilion.
