Each week during the 2016-17 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is sophomore Jen Giles from the Maryland women's lacrosse team.
COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Sophomore Jen Giles led the Maryland women's lacrosse team to a 13-10 win over then-No. 1 North Carolina last Saturday.
In front of a program-record crowd of 3,868 in Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium, Giles set a career high with six points (3G, 3A). She also caused two turnovers and picked up one ground ball. The Ellicott City, Md., native went 2-for-2 on free position shots.
