
Terps Garner No. 5 Seed in Upcoming B1G Tournament

CHICAGO -- After concluing a historic regular season, the Maryland women's tennis team (16-5, 7-4 B1G) has earned the No. 5 seed in the upcoming Big Ten Tournament.
The Terps will take on host Illinois, who is the No. 4 seed in the tournament.
Maryland had its most successful season this spring, earning a program-best 16 wins. The squad was led by the strong play of its doubles duos, receiving the doubles point in 18-of-21 matches this spring.
Junior Ekaterina Tour also shined for the Terps, winning a team-high 15 doubles matches with partner Caroline Williams, and also notching a team-high 16 singles victories.
