COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland (13-4, 2-2 B1G) will host its third Big Ten home game of the season Sunday when the Terps take on Iowa (9-8, 0-4 B1G). The game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1.

• Maryland is 4-3 all-time against the Hawkeyes, and 2-2 against Iowa since joining the Big Ten. Iowa won its first ever game at the XFINITY Center 83-69 when the teams last met on Feb. 25, 2017.
• The University of Maryland Athletic Department will honor the 1958 ACC Championship men's basketball team Sunday during Maryland's game vs. Iowa. The team is celebrating its 60th anniversary of winning the 1958 ACC Tournament Championship, becoming the first-ever Maryland basketball team to capture the conference crown. The Terps knocked off Virginia in the opening round, before taking out Duke in overtime in the semifinals and North Carolina 86-74 in the Championship game.
• Freshman Bruno Fernando had 17 points and 11 rebounds (first career double-double), Anthony Cowan Jr. scored 18 and Maryland rallied past Penn State 75-69 on Jan. 2. for the squad's second conference win.
• Kevin Huerter was clutch in the second half against the Nittany Lions, scoring all 13 of his points in the final 11 minutes of the game. Huerter tallied a career high nine free throws on nine attempts down the stretch to help the Terps secure their second win in the B1G.
• Cowan continues to be the catalyst for Maryland on the offensive end this season, as the Bowie, Md. native has led the Terps in scoring in 11 different games including all three Big Ten contests. Cowan leads Maryland in points per game (15.6), free throw pct. (86.9%), assists per game (4.5) and steals per game while averaging a league-high 35.3 minutes per game.
• Jared Nickens has now moved into 10th in Maryland history in career three-pointers with 162 as a Terp. Nickens passed Maryland great Walt Williams (154) against Catholic on Dec. 12, and now sits 14 three pointers away from tying Drew Nicholas (176) for ninth.
• Kevin Huerter has moved into the top-20 all-time in career three pointers made, as the sophomore now has 107 career threes as a Terp. The mark moves him into 18th all-time at Maryland, and the Clifton Park, N.Y. native is primed to climb further up the all-time list throughout Big Ten play.
• Maryland is currently shooting 48.9% from the floor this season, which ranks third in the Big Ten and 36th in the country. The Terps are also third in the conference in three-point field percentage (39.1%) connecting on 128 of 327 attempts.
