COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Maryland fans will have their first opportunity to see the men's and women's 2018-19 basketball teams at this year's installment of Maryland Madness Fan Fest on Friday, October 26 starting at 8:00 p.m. at the XFINITY Center. All gates will be available for entry and will open at 7:00 pm.

Admission to the evening's activities is free and seating is first-come, first-served. Parking will be free in lots surrounding XFINITY Center after 4:00 pm.

The idea of Maryland Madness, which is celebrated in some fashion by teams all across the country, actually originated on the campus of the University of Maryland.

This year's event will feature a first look at the team's introduction videos, skills competitions and inter squad scrimmages for both teams. Additionally, fans will have the opportunity to take photos with select championship trophies from the men's and women's programs on the XFINITY Center concourse prior to the event.

The arena floor will be open for 30 minutes following the end of the evening's scheduled activities for a fan autograph session. Autograph cards will be provided for fans to collect the signatures of their favorite players (note: outside items will not be permitted for signature).
