Maryland Set for Landfall Tradition

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland women's golf team will close its fall season at the Landfall Tradition tournament this weekend at the Country Club of Landfall Dye Course in Wilmington, N.C.
The teams will play the first two rounds Friday and Saturday, then will play the final round Sunday with an 8:45 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring will be available here.
The Terps will compete against No. 2 Virginia, No. 5 Duke, No. 8 Arkansas, No. 17 South Carolina, No. 14 Wake Forest, No. 19 Purdue, No. 20 Furman, No. 37 North Carolina, No. 39 Penn State, No. 53 North Carolina State, UCF, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State and tournament-host UNCW.
Virunpat Olankitkunchai, Laura Van Respaille, Ludovica Farina, Xiaolin Tian and Elena Verticchio will compete for No. 56 Maryland.
The Dye Course is a par-72 that covers 6,166 yards.
Most recently, Maryland finished second at the Cardinal Cup in Louisville last weekend as a team.
