Knade, Colanta Lead Terps at Wolfpack Intercollegiate

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Junior Peter Knade and senior Timothy Colanta are in the top five of the standings after the first two rounds in the Wolfpack Intercollegiate at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, N.C. Saturday.
As a team, the Terrapins are eight strokes under par and are tied with East Carolina. They are one stroke behind UNCG (-9) and five strokes behind tournament-host NC State (-13) with the lead.
Tied for second, Knade went seven strokes under par in the first two rounds for a current combined score of 137 (71-66). His second round score of 66 is a career low. Colanta is tied for fourth with a with his current score of 139 (70-69), which is five under.
Redshirt junior Evan Santa is tied for 28th and is currently even with his score of 144 (77-67).
Freshman Dillon Brown and junior Christian Park are both +5. They shot a 76 in the first round and a 73 in the second.
Competing as an individual, junior Chris Lane earned a score of 156 (78-78)
