"Our season has started a little slow for us," head coach
Diana Cantu said. "We have to work on getting more consistent. Our talent level is there, we just haven't performed as well as we are capable of. We will continue to work hard in order to gain confidence for the end of the fall.
I'm very proud of Virunpat and her performance this weekend. She broke the course record during the first round, which is a huge accomplishment. It was also her lowest round in college thus far. I hope her runner up finish gives her more confidence to carry on the rest of the semester."
