COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The annual A.J. Francis Canned Food Drive will begin collection on Saturday, November 17 prior to kickoff of Maryland football's noon game vs. Ohio State at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium.

All fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable items to the gates provided prior to each game listed below. Francis, who played four seasons at Maryland from 2009-12 while also carving out a career in the NFL, will attend each competition throughout the month.

The schedule for the A.J. Francis Canned Food Drive is below

Football

Date: Saturday, November 17 (Maryland vs. Ohio State)

Game Time: Noon

Collection: Will begin at 10:30 am and conclude at the end of the 1st Quarter (approx. 12:30 pm)

Locations: Gates C, F and I

Volleyball

Date: Saturday, November 17 (Volleyball vs. Wisconsin)

Game Time: 7:30 pm

Collection: Will begin at 6:30 pm and conclude at the end of the Set 1 (approx. 8:00 pm)

Location: Pavilion doors

Women's Basketball

Date: Saturday, December 8 (Maryland vs. James Madison)

Game Time: 12:00 pm

Collection: Will begin at 11:00 am and end at the conclusion of the 1st Quarter (approx. 12:30 pm)

Locations: Gates C, D and E

Men's Basketball

Date: Saturday, December 22 (Maryland vs. Seton Hall)

Game Time: 5:30 pm

Collection: Will begin at 4:30 pm and end at 6:00 pm (approx. Midway through first half)

Locations: Gates A, B and E
