
Cowan Named Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Junior Anthony Cowan Jr. has been named Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week after a sensational performance in the No. 24 Maryland men's basketball team's win over Mashall.
Cowan Jr. totaled 26 points on 10-of-15 shooting and added seven rebounds and six assists in just 30 minutes of action. His 26 points was one shy of his career-high.
Cowan Jr. is the first Terrapin since Greivis Vasquez in 2010 to post at least 26 points, seven rebounds and six assists in a single game.
The junior guard and the Terps return to action Wednesday night at 7:30 when they host No. 4 Virginia in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge at XFINITY Center. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
