Four Terps Earn All-Academic Honors

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Maryland women's tennis athletes Eva Alexandrova, Millie Stretton, Ekaterina Tour and Saya Usui earned ITA All-Academic honors following their academic accomplishments during the 2017-18 season, the ITA announced Tuesday.
The Maryland women's tennis program also received the ITA All-Academic Team award, which goes to a program that has a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or above for the academic year.
"I'm proud of the hard work this team put into the classroom as well as on the court," head coach Daria Panova said. "Being an ITA All-Academic team is always one of our goals at the beginning of the year and it's great to see the team's dedication pay off."
In order to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete status, a player must meet the following criterion:
The Terrapins honored with the award join the 4,328 scholar athletes across the 10 divisions of collegiate tennis the ITA oversees.

- Be a varsity letter-winner
- Have a GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale
- Be enrolled in their current school for at least two semesters.
