Terps to Tee Off in Illini Invitational at Medinah

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The Maryland women's golf team will compete in the Illini Invitational at Medinah Monday and Tuesday at the Medinah Country Club in Medinah, Ill.
The Terps and the 14 other teams competing will play 36 holes Monday, starting with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. They will play the final 18 holes Tuesday, which will begin with a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. Live scoring will be available here.
Senior Xiaolin Tian, juniors Laura Van Respaille, Virunpat Olankitkunchai, and Charlotte Lafourcade, and freshman Maria Vittoria Corbi will be competing for Maryland. Freshman Angela Garvin will compete as an individual.
The Terrapins will compete against No. 5 Kent State, Purdue, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Kennesaw State, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Texas Tech, Indiana, Augusta, Louisville, San Jose State, Oklahoma and tournamen-host No. 19 Illinois.
This is the second year Illinois has hosted the Illini Women's invitational and this is Maryland's first year competing in the invitational.
