
#8 Terrapins Welcome Blue Hens Sunday

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The eighth-ranked Maryland women's basketball team (2-1) will welcome Delaware (0-2) to the XFINITY Center Sunday at 1 p.m. For tickets, click here.
Sunday's game is the Terrapins' annual Military Appreciation Game. Military members can claim free admission by showing their military ID at the ticket office Sunday.
The Terrapins will also host the annual Meet the Team event after the game where fans can ask questions and get to know the 2019-20 team.
The Terps-Blue Hens game will be streamed through BTN Plus and fans can watch with their BTN Plus subscriptions, which start at $9.95. Live stats will be available here.
Maryland is 12-0 all-time vs. Delaware. Last year, the Terrapins won 77-53 in Newark on Dec. 20. Shakira Austin led the way with 17 points and a career-high eight blocks. Kaila Charles, Stephanie Jones and Taylor Mikesell scored in double figures as well.
The Terrapins rallied from 19 points down to win at James Madison, 70-68, Wednesday night. Maryland trailed 60-41 with 9:55 to play, then went on a 29-8 run to seal the win. Austin scored 13 of her 21 points in the fourth quarter run. A three by Taylor Mikesell tied the game with 2:06 to play, then a jumper by Austin gave the Terps their first lead with 1:20 to go. JMU tied it up at the line, then Ashley Owusu scored the game-winning bucket with 3 seconds to play.
Maryland is ranked No. 8 in the Associated Press poll released Monday.
The Terps' matchup with the Blue Hens will open a three-game home swing. Maryland will host George Washington (1-1) Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Quinnipiac (0-2) Sunday at noon. For tickets, click here.
