COLLEGE PARK, Md.  – Six members of the Maryland field hockey squad earned All-Mid Atlantic Region honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Monday.

Freshman Emma DeBerdine, junior Bodil Keus and senior Madison Maguire earned First Team honors. Junior Hannah Bond, junior Brooke DeBerdine and senior Kelee Lepage were named to the Second Team.

This is the third straight All-Region honor for both Keus and Maguire and the second for Brooke DeBerdine.

Maguire led the Terrapins with 12 goals and 10 assists this year. She was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and to the All-Big Ten First Team.

Keus helped anchor one of the top defenses in the country, which held a goals against averaged of 0.96. Keus served as team co-captain and scored six goals with five assists. She was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and to the All-Big Ten First Team.

Emma DeBerdine started in all 21 games as a freshman and scored seven goals with five assists. She was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team and earned two Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors.

Brooke DeBerdine, Lepage Bond and started in all 21 game. Bond was part of the Terps' defensive unit. She scored twice and added three assists. Brooke DeBerdine added a goal and two assists on the year. Lepage scored three goals and notched eight assists.

Maryland won its fifth Big Ten regular season title in six years this fall and earned a record of 17-4. The Terrapins made their 25th straight NCAA Tournament appearance – the longest active streak in the country.
