Hollamon And Kuhne Named 2026 Field Hockey Captains

COLLEGE PARK, MD — The Maryland Field Hockey program named Josie Hollamon and Feliz Kuhne captains for the 2026 season.
Josie Hollamon has enjoyed a decorated career so far in her time in College Park, being named first-team All-Big Ten twice (2024 and 2025). Hollamon has also been named an NFHCA Second Team All-American in 2025 and to the 2025 NFHCA All-Mid-Atlantic Region First Team.
"It's an honor to be named one of the captains of this team. Maryland field hockey is known for its tradition and winning culture, so I am extremely grateful my teammates have chosen me to help lead us toward success," Hollamon said.
Feliz Kuhne was also named a captain of the 2026 team and provided an immediate impact as a freshman in 2025, playing in 14 games with 11 starts.
"Being named captain means a lot to me because I have so much pride in this team and genuinely believe in the people around me. I'm really grateful to have the chance to lead a group that I trust so much and that I know is capable of doing something really special," Kuhne said.
The Maryland Terrapins begin their 2026 season at home this weekend with the annual Conference Cup, hosting Drexel on Friday at noon and Temple on Sunday at 2 p.m.
