COLLEGE PARK, Md. -Â The No. 5 Maryland men's basketball team is set to face Marquette at 1:00 pm Sunday in the Orlando Invitational Championship game. The Terps are off to their third 7-0 start in the
Mark Turgeon era, and will look to improve to 8-0 for the first time since 2006-07.

STORYLINES
• Including Friday's win over Harvard, Maryland is 12-1 in its last 13 neutral site preseason tournament games dating back to the 2013-14 season. The Terps are a formidable 120-52 (.698) all-time in preseason tournaments, including 32 championships and 12 runner-up finishes. Maryland's last title came at the Barclays Classic in 2016. The Terps' last title in a 3-game tournament was at the Paradise Jam in 2013-14.
• Maryland's matchup against Marquette marks the first meeting in history between the schools. Friday's game against Harvard was also a first-time matchup.
• Maryland's veterans led the way in the 80-73 semifinal victory against Temple, as
Anthony Cowan Jr. scored 20 points and
Darryl Morsell (13pts/12rebs) and
Jalen Smith (12pts/10rebs) each recorded double-doubles. It was the first career double-double for Morsell.
Aaron Wiggins (13pts/9rebs) was one board away from his second double-double of the season.
• Senior
Anthony Cowan Jr. has totaled 50 points through the first game of the tournament, marking just the second time in his career he has scored at least 50 points in that span. He exploded for a career-high 30 points against Temple, before adding 20 more against Harvard.
• Maryland has continued its superb play on the defensive end by forcing Temple and Harvard to both turn the ball over 15 times. The Terps are currently forcing 15.4 turnovers/g. For comparison's sake, the Terps single-season high in the
Mark Turgeon era is 12.8/g in the 2013-14 season.
• Senior
Anthony Cowan Jr. scored 30 points against Temple to move past Derrick Lewis (1984-1988) for 18th all-time in scoring at Maryland. He now has 1,490 points. The Bowie, Md., native is also t-8th all-time in assists (469). Cowan is one of three players in program history with 1,400 points and 450 assists (Greivis Vasquez, John Lucas). Additionally, Cowan and Cassius Winston (Michigan State) are the only Power-6 players with at least 1440 career points and 460 assists.
