
#4/5 Maryland Set for #8/10 South Carolina

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The fourth-ranked Maryland women's basketball team (1-0) will play host to the eighth-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks (1-0) Sunday at 3 p.m. at the XFINITY Center. The Terps-Gamecocks game will be televised around the world on ESPN and fans can watch online here.
Tickets can be purchased for the Terps-Gamecocks matchup here. All fans attending this top ten featured matchup are encouraged to wear white for a White Out game. The first 1,000 fans and 250 students will receive a White Out shirt.
Parking will be available in lots 4B, 9B, 11B and the Terrapin Trail Garage. Fans are reminded to adhere to all posted parking signage for those lots and all other lots.

The Maryland-South Carolina matchup is one of five women's basketball contests to be broadcast on the Maryland Sports Network. Fans can listen in on 105.7 The Fan (Baltimore), The Team 980 (DC), WARK 1490 (Hagerstown) and online here.
The Terrapins own the all-time series, 2-1. Last year, Maryland beat South Carolina 85-61, on Nov. 18 in Columbia. The Terps were led by Blair Watson's 20 points and double-doubles from Kaila Charles, Shakira Austin and Channise Lewis.
Maryland cruised past Wagner in their season opener to improve to 1-0 on the season. The Terps scored a total of 119 points, a record in the Brenda Frese era. Senior Kaila Charles, sophomore Shakira Austin and freshman Ashley Owusu each had 18 points to lead the way for the Terps.
After Sunday's game, the Terrapins will travel to Harrisonburg, Va. to take on James Madison (1-0) Wednesday at 7 p.m. The Terps-Dukes game will be streamed on FloSports.com.
