The Terrapins are 10-0 all-time against the Huskers and 4-0 against them at the XFINITY Center. Earlier this year, the Terps won 81-63 in Lincoln on Jan. 8.
Kaila Charles led the way with 19 points,
Taylor Mikesell scored 16 and
Stephanie Jones added 13.
Blair Watson chipped in 12 points and
Shakira Austin grabbed 10 rebounds.

The Terps handled No. 20 Rutgers, 62-48, Sunday in New Jersey. Maryland jumped out to an 18-4 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. The Terps held the Scarlet Knights to just 34 percent from the field (18-53) and outrebounded them 35-24. Charles scored 17 points, Jones added 12 and Watson scored nine with eight boards.

Charles was named to the Citizen Naismith Trophy Midseason Team Monday. She was named to the Wade Watch List and the Wooden Award Late Season Top 20 last week.

Maryland is seventh in the country and leads the Big Ten in rebounding margin (+10.7) and in defensive rebounds (30.0).

Sophomore
Channise Lewis leads the Big Ten in assist/turnover ratio (2.7) and assists (5.3). Mikesell leads the league, is 20th in the country in threes made with 71. She is currently tied for Maryland's freshman record. Austin is second in the Big Ten and seventh in the country in total blocks (61). Jones is third in the Big Ten and 12th in the country in field goal percentage (.605). Charles is No. 4 in the Big Ten in scoring (16.0) and Mikesell is No. 10 (14.0).

With their win at Illinois on Feb. 4, the Terps reached the 20-win mark for the 15th consecutive season under
Brenda Frese and 25th time in school history.

As a program, Maryland has earned a record of 994-424 (.701) and needs six wins to reach 1,000.
