Barnsdale Wins in Hammer Throw at Day One of UNF Spring Break Competition

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Sophomore Alice Barnsdale set a new personal best and secured the win in the hammer throw with a 59.69m (195' 10") in the first day of competition at the UNF Spring Break Invitational in Jacksonville, Florida.
Sophomore Bayli Smith also set a new personal best and earned a podium finish, taking third place with a 52.86m (173' 5") throw. Freshman Kamryn Henderson finished 15th in her first collegiate hammer throw appearance, throwing 44.99m (147' 7").
In the javelin throw, freshman Lillian Hill took home sixth place with a throw of 38.99m (127' 11").
