Emilie LeBlanc stuck a near perfect beam routine to earn a career best 9.875.
"Every time I go on to floor I just remind myself to do the best that I can and the scores will follow," said Burgess. "It was amazing that hard work pays off and it was a great experience."
The Monday night rematch opened on vault for the GymTerps where they earned a score of 48.750 led by sophomores
Audrey Barber and
Collea Burgess (9.825s) who both matched season bests.

Entering the fourth rotation the GymTerps found themselves in a 146.050-145.825 deficit that would require a big floor performance to overcome. Maryland went to work starting with junior
Kirsten Peterman who tied her season-best 9.775 score followed by sophomore
Sabriyya Rouse whose exhilarating routine matched her season best (9.825) as well. Junior
Alecia Farina and senior
Alex Robinson both earned 9.750s respectively and Barber posted a dazzling 9.875. Burgess returned to floor after not competing in the event Friday and earned a highly deserved career best 9.925 sending the Terps in to a frenzy and boosting them to a season-best 49.150 score in the event.
"I'm so proud of them to finish like that and to come from behind but more importantly we finally put it all together on floor the way we thought we were capable of and it was amazing it was fun to watch and the scores followed," said head coach
Brett Nelligan.
Audrey Barber ran away with the all-around title after she recorded a season-best 39.400.
"Toughness is the cornerstone of what this team is built on," said Nelligan. "For them to come out two days after a loss and put up a huger performance like this
and to get the win, I'm really proud of them."
