Solomon Eye Terp of the Week: Brindi Griffin

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Each week during the 2018-19 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is Brindi Griffin of the women's lacrosse team.

Junior Brindi Griffin led Maryland with eight points (five goals, three assists) in two wins over #14 Princeton and Rutgers. In the Terps 20-3 win over Rutgers, Griffin led Maryland with four goals, tying her career-high, including three in the first half to put Maryland ahead 11-1. In Maryland's win win over #14 Princeton, the Maryland native assisted on three goals while scoring one to total four points. Griffin now leads Maryland on the season with 15 assists and has 28 points. In Big Ten play, she has 11 points with 5 goals and six assists, the second highest mark on the team.

Griffin and the Terps will play two top ten foes this week, first Wednesday at No. 8 Virginia before returning home for No. 7 Michigan on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
