Peter Knade Named to PING All-Region Team

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Junior Peter Knade of the Maryland men's golf team was named to the Division I PING All-Northeast Region team this week.
This is Knade's second PING All-Region honor after he was selected last year. Earlier this spring, Knade was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team.
Knade, a native of Easton, Md., tied for ninth in the Big Ten Championships at the Philadelphia Cricket Club in April. He entered the third and final round tied for fifth and four strokes over par total. He shot a 75 to finish +9 overall with a score of 219 (73-71-75).
Knade picked up his fourth top 10 finish of the year and third straight top 20 finish. He led the Terrapins with his scoring average of 72.13 this season.
