
Lefebvre-Oatis Earns HM All-American Accolades

AUSTIN, Texas -- On the final day of competition at NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas, Mikella Lefebvre-Oatis finished 24th in the high jump with a 1.70m (5'7") clearance and earned honorable mention All-American designation.
In her first year as a Terp, Lefebvre-Oatis racked up three wins in the high jump (UNF Spring Break Invitational, UVA Quad Meet, Kehoe Twilight Meet) and finished fourth at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships.
Lefebvre-Oatis joins Greg Thompson, Alexandra Lucki, Xahria Santiago, and Jewel Smith in receiving All-American designation. All five of Maryland's competitors come away with honorable mention or second team USTFCCCA honors.
Santiago and Lefebvre-Oatis will seek return bids to the NCAA Championships next season. Thompson, Lucki and Smith all wrapped up their memorable careers as Terps at NCAA Championships.
