Solomon Eye Associate Terp of the Week: Hope Lewandoski

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Each week during the 2019-20 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is Hope Lewandoski from women's soccer.
The Newbury, Ohio native tallied her first goal of the season in a critical moment, netting the game-winner for Maryland (2-0-0) in double overtime against NJIT (0-1-1) on August 25. The OT victory capped a two-win opening weekend for the Terps, after a 2-1 win over Georgia Southern on Thursday night.
Lewandoski and the rest of the Maryland women's soccer team return to action this weekend at the Bulldog Classic for games against Auburn and Georgia.
