COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland women's golf team will compete in Tennessee's Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship Monday and Tuesday at the Cherokee Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn.
The Terrapins and the 15 other teams competing will play 36 holes Monday, beginning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. They will play the final 18 holes Tuesday. Live scoring will be available

Xiaolin Tian, juniors
Laura Van Respaille and
Virunpat Olankitkunchai and freshman
Maria Vittoria Corbi and
Angela Garvin will be competing for Maryland. This marks Garvin's first collegiate event. Junior
Charlotte Lafourcade will compete as an individual.
The Terrapins will compete against No. 10 Kent State, Middle Tennessee, Augusta, Memphis, LSU, Charlotte, UTSA, Mercer, Tulane, Eastern Kentucky, East Tennessee State, Chattanooga, Southern Mississippi, South Dakota State and tournament host No. 40 Tennessee.
This is Maryland's fifth straight year competing in the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship. Last year, the Terps finished tied for ninth out of 17 teams and Lafourcade finished in the top 10.
