Softball Announces 2019 Fall Slate

COLLEGE PARK, Md.- The Maryland softball team will play seven games during fall ball in 2019, hosting six of the contests at the Maryland Softball Stadium.
The Terrapins' begin their fall home stand with a doubleheader against Mount. Saint Mary's at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Sept. 28. The following week on October 5, Maryland will travel to Towson for a 1 p.m. matchup at Tiger Softball Complex.
Maryland returns back home on Friday, Oct. 11 at 5 p.m., against George Mason, as the Terps and the Patriots are set for a 10-inning matchup. Maryland will aslo host St. Francis University on Oct. 12, for a doubleheader matchup beginning at 2 p.m. against the Red Flash.
Friday, Oct. 18 at 6 p.m., the Terrapins will conclude their fall schedule as they take on the Bobcats of Frostburg State in a 10-inning contest.
"Anxious to see this group on the field," head coach Mark Montgomery said. "We certainly would have loved to have a few more practices before we begin, but it's always fun to play games against competition and then to use that to work on things and get better."
Admission is free for all fall matchups.
