Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week: Joseph Ewan

COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Each week during the 2019-20 season a Maryland student-athlete, who has shown excellence on and off the playing field, will be selected as the Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week. This week's Solomon Eye Associates Terp of the Week is freshman Joseph Ewan of track and field.

Freshman Joe Ewan competed in his first collegiate meet at the Nittany Lion Challenge Saturday, where he took home two third place titles and posted two top 10 all-time bests in Maryland track and field's record book.

Ewan opened the meet in the 60M dash and qualified for finals with a 6.93 finish. In finals, he worked his way to an all-time seventh best time of 6.90 and took home third place. In the 200m dash, he now holds the Terps' sixth fastest time of 21.80.
