COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The University of Maryland wrestling team will hit the road for its first Big Ten road swing of 2020 as it travels to Michigan (Jan. 17) and Michigan State (Jan. 19).
Maryland's dual vs. Michigan Friday at 7 p.m. will be streamed live on BTN Plus. Maryland's dual vs. Michigan State on Sunday at 3 p.m. will air on the Big Ten Network.

Scouting Michigan
The University of Michigan wrestling team (2-2, 1-0 Big Ten) opened its season with a 17-19 loss vs. No. 17 North Carolina, but rebounded with a 22-12 win over Central Michigan. In its first match of 2020, the Wolverines fell to Oregon State, 15-21, before most recently beating Michigan State 22-14. Seven Michigan wrestlers appear in the national rankings, most notably Mason Parris who ranks second in the country at heavyweight across the board. The Wolverines lead the all-time series against Maryland, 5-1-1, with wins in the last three meetings.

Scouting Michigan State
The Michigan State wrestling team (4-4, 0-2 Big Ten) has compiled four wins in dual action, with wins over No. 20 Oklahoma, Kent State, Duke and Wyoming. The Spartans feature five wrestlers in the national rankings, most notably Jake Tucker at 157 pounds who leads the team with 18 wins. Michigan State and Maryland meet for the sixth time in program history, with the Spartans holding a 4-1 record in the all-time series.Â
