#14 Terrapins Back in Action at Penn State Thursday

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - No. 14/14 Maryland (5-1, 1-0 B1G) will return to action Thursday with a noon tip-off at Penn State (3-2, 0-1). The Terps-Lady Lions game wil be televised around the world on the Big Ten Network. Fans can watch at FoxSports.com and the Fox Sports app, using their cable login information.

  • Thursday's matchup is the Terps' first since Dec. 19 when they beat James Madison, 101-59 in College Park. Ashley Owusu led the way with 19 points, Diamond Miller added 18 and Chloe Bibby scored 17 as six Terps scored in double figures.

  • The University of Maryland women's basketball program will celebrate its 50th varsity season in 2020-21, and will honor the program's rich tradition and history throughout the year. Maryland played its first full varsity season in 1971-72, under the leadership of pioneer Dottie McKnight. During its storied history, the program has won 1,034 games, amassed 43 winning seasons, won 22 conference championships, made 37 postseason appearances and captured the 2006 National Championship
