Terrapins Release Non-Conference Slate

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The Maryland women's basketball team released its non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season Thursday.
The Terrapins will host local opponents George Mason, Coppin State, Morgan State, Mount St. Mary's and UMBC at the XFINITY Center this season. Maryland will also take on 2026 Final Four teams South Carolina and Connecticut in neutral site matchups. Click here for the full schedule.
The Terps will officially open the season in the Oui-Play event in Paris on Monday, Nov. 2. Maryland will take on 2026 national runner-up South Carolina at noon ET. For tickets and information on VIP packages, click here.
In its home opener, Maryland will welcome George Mason to College Park on Sunday, Nov. 8 as it opens a five-game homestand. The Terrapins will host Ivy league opponent Columbia a week later on Sunday, Nov. 15.
Maryland will welcome Coppin State on Wednesday, Nov. 18 and Morgan State on Saturday, Nov. 21. The Terps will close their homestand with a Tuesday, Nov. 24 matchup vs. Monmouth.
The Terrapins will take the short trip to play at Towson Thanksgiving weekend. The Terps will face off against Maryland alum and 2006 NCAA Champion Laura Harper, who is head coach of the Tigers, on Saturday, Nov. 28.
Maryland will return home to host Ball State on Tuesday, Dec. 1. Ball State was head coach Brenda Frese's first head coaching stop from 1999-2001.
The Terps will take on Connecticut on Saturday, Dec. 5 in the Women's Champions Classic at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The Terrapins and the Huskies will tip off at 4:30 p.m. on FOX. For more information on the Women's Champions Classic, click here.

The Terrapins return three All-Big Ten honorees in Bri McDaniel, Oluchi Okananwa and Addi Mack from last year's squad that went 24-9 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Second Round. Frese and her staff signed All-ACC transfer Nunu Agara (Stanford) and guard Chloe Sotell (Missouri).
The Terps also bring in the No. 7 freshmen class in Jordyn Jackson, Trinity Jones, Mimi Thiero and Eva-Grace Yebila.
