STATESBORO, GA -- The Maryland softball team finished day two of the Eagle Round Robin 1-1, beating Evansville 1-0, while falling to Monmouth 2-1. Freshman
Courtney Wyche improved her record to 2-3 in the circle. She became the first Terp since Ashley Czechner in 2011 to record 15 strikeouts in a game in the win against Evansville.

- Wyche only allowed one hit in her seven scoreless inning, she gave up zero hits through five innings.
- With two outs and a full count in the top of the seventh, Wyche pitched her 15th strikeout, winning the game for the Terps.
Game 1: Monmouth 2, Maryland 1
- Maryland was outhit 7-5 by Monmouth.
- McRae scored the only run for the Terps.
- Freshman Trinity Schlotterbeck recorded six strikeouts with no walks against the Hawks.
