COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The Maryland women's tennis team dropped a 4-1 decision against the JMU Dukes on Saturday.

- Junior Eva Alexandrova made her season debut at the No. 1 spot; remains undefeated in singles play (5-0)
- Three Terps took their first set against the Dukes in singles play
- Singles
- Alexandrova put up a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Jona Roka at the No. 1 spot
- Freshman Vera Markovic was up 6-3, 4-3 over Kylie Moulin, and junior Zoe Kulkarni was ahead in her match 6-3, 3-2 when JMU took the match
- Doubles:
- Freshman Ayana Akli and senior Kate Yemelyanenka were up 5-4 at the time JMU took the point
Maryland will face Mary Washington at 4 p.m. in the Junior Tennis Champions Center.
