
Terrapins Set to Open Spring Slate in Puerto Rico

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's golf team will compete at The Lady Puerto Rico Classic Sunday through Tuesday at the Rio Mar Country Club, River Course in Rio Grande P.R.
The Terps and the 14 other teams competing will play 18 holes each day, starting at 7:00 a.m. ET Sunday and Monday. The final round will start at 6:30 a.m. ET and all rounds are a shotgun start. Live scoring will be available here.
Freshman Maria Vittoria Corbi, sophomore Elena Verticchio, junior Virunpat Olankitkunchai, junior Laura Van Respaille, and senior Xiaolin Tian will compete for Maryland.
The Terrapins will compete against Augusta, East Carolina, No. 38 Georgia, Indiana, No. 40 Iowa State, No. 21 Kentucky, NC State, Nebraska, Northwestern, No.15 Oklahoma State, TCU, No. 26 Texas Tech, No. 22 Virginia Tech, and tournament host, Purdue.
