COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Junior attackman Logan Wisnauskas and junior faceoff specialist Justin Shockey both garnered Big Ten weekly honors in a release made by the conference offices today. Wisnauskas was named the conference's Offensive Player of the Week, while Shockey was recognized as the Specialist of the Week.

This is the third career Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honor for Wisnauskas, after the Sykesville, Md. native tied his career-high with eight points on five goals and three assists in Maryland's 14-13 win over Albany. The junior tallied the winning goal for the second time this season, becoming the second Terp (Jared Bernhardt – Feb.18) to be named the OPOW this season.

Shockey was named the Big Ten Specialist of the Week for the second time in his career after winning a career-high 23 faceoffs against Albany at a 76% clip. Shockey's 23 faceoff wins mark the second-most in Maryland single-game history, trailing only Andy Claxton's 27 wins at Towson in 1991. The Potomac, Md. native also scooped nine ground balls in the victory.

Maryland returns to action this Saturday, March 14 when the Terps host Virginia at Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium.
