International: Named the U-19 World Championships Most Valuable Player after leading Team USA to the Championship in the summer of 2016 … also named to the All-World team … finished tournament with 10 goals and five assists … scored the game-tying goal with 2:34 remaining in the championship game.
Before Maryland: The 3rd overall recruit (2nd among midfielders) in the Class of 2016 by Inside Lacrosse … had a storied career at Lake Brantley … totaled 434 career points on 236 goals and 198 assists … named an Under Armour All-American and USA Today All-USA First Team as a senior, totaling 56 goals and 59 assists … also named a US Lacrosse All-American … 2016 All-Area Player of the Year by Orlando Sentinel … totaled 114 points while scoring on 60 percent of shots as a junior … three-time All-Central Florida selection … also starred as a triple-option quarterback for Lake Brantley in football, accumulating more than 4,000 all-purpose yards and accounting for more than 30 touchdowns in his junior and senior seasons … named All-Central Florida as a senior by Orlando Sentinel.
Personal: Son of Jim and Catherine… father played football and lacrosse at Hofstra … brothers Jake (2009-13) and Jesse (2010-13) both played lacrosse at Maryland and play professionally in Major League Lacrosse and the Premier Lacrosse League … Jesse was a two-time USILA All-American and the 2012 ACC Defender of the Year … Jesse is currently the defensive coordinator for Maryland men's lacrosse, while Jake is an assistant coach for Vermont men's lacrosse ... strongly considered playing football at Navy, before deciding to play lacrosse at Maryland.
