ROSEMONT, Ill. – Twenty student-athletes from the University of Maryland were named Winter Academic All-Big Ten selections by the conference on Monday.

The Terps are represented by men's basketball (4), women's basketball (5), gymnastics (4) and wrestling (7).

The list includes 4 athletes who were also All-Big Ten honorees for their athletic exploits: Darryl Morsell, Kaila Charles, Taylor Mikesell and Stephanie Jones. Gymnastics postseason awards have not been announced yet.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
