COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The Maryland women's tennis team picked up more academic honors this week as six Terps were named Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athletes. The program also received All-Academic team honors.

Saya Usui and Kate Yemelyanenka were all recognized as ITA-Scholar Athletes for having a grade-point average of at least 3.5 for the current academic year. This marks the second year in a row that Maryland tennis athletes have received ITA Academic Honors.
The Terps also earned the All-Academic team honor for having a team grade-point average of a 3.2 or higher.Â
