COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The Maryland gymnastics meet against Michigan State scheduled for Jan. 23 at Noon in College Park, has been postponed out of an abundance of caution surrounding the health and safety of the student-athletes due to interruptions in preparations caused by COVID restrictions at Michigan State. 

The schools and the Big Ten Conference will work to find a mutually agreeable date to reschedule the contest.

Maryland is scheduled to open its 2021 season at Penn State on Sunday, Jan. 17 at 5 p.m., in a meet that will air on Big Ten Network.
