This is Maryland's second trip to Penn State in as many weekends. Last time out, the Terps secured 15 podium finishes including five first-place slots and six Terps who etched their names in the record books.
In her Maryland debut last time out, Senior Angel Nkwonta, set the second-highest marks in program history in the weight throw (20.62m) and shot put (16.75m, 54-11 ½). Nkwonta currently ranks third in the nation in shot put and is tied for seventh in weight throw.
Sophomore Caleb Dean returns to compete this weekend after setting a personal record in the 60m hurdles (7.95s) Dean currently ranks 18th in the nation in the event and fifth in the Big Ten.
