COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland volleyball returns home to XFINITY Center Pavilion to take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights in a match set to be aired on Big Ten Network.
The Terps are coming off a 3-1 victory at Michigan State, the program's first-ever win in East Lansing, Michigan. Outside hitter
Sam Csire racked up 15 kills to lead the squad on that night.

blocking beasts
- After leading the Big Ten in blocking during the spring season, the Terps are right back at it this Fall.
- Maryland leads the Big Ten with 3.17 blocks per set, a number that also leads the entire NCAA. In terms of total blocks, the Terps have 222, 27.5 more than the team with the second-most (Penn State.)
- The Terps efforts are led by middle blocker Rainelle Jones who leads the country with 1.85 blocks per set.

- Many Terps are at the top, or near the top, of several statistical categories.
- Blocking is one of the squad's biggest strengths and it shows with the team second in the conference with 3.17 blocks per set while Rainelle Jones leads all individuals with 1.85 blocks per set.
- Freshman Milan Gomillion has burst onto the scene this Fall with 4.66 digs per set, top in the Big Ten
- Setter Sydney Dowler has orchestrated Maryland's offense to perfection with 1013 assists per set, seventh in the Big Ten.
