Maryland Volleyball's Annika Sokol, Sydney Bryant to Represent Terps at 2026 Big Ten Volleyball Media Day

COLLEGE PARK, MD – Maryland volleyball student-athletes Annika Sokol and Sydney Bryant, along with head coach Adam Hughes, will represent the Terrapins at the 2026 Big Ten Volleyball Media Day on Monday, Aug. 3, in Chicago.
Sokol and Bryant will participate in a variety of media day activities, including photo and video shoots, content creation, and interviews with media members as part of the conference's preview of the upcoming 2026 season.
Bryant enters her senior season after appearing in 25 matches during the 2025 campaign. She ranked fourth on the team with 140 kills and recorded a season-high 13 kills against Ohio State.
Sokol begins her second season in College Park after transferring from UTSA before the 2025 season. As a junior, she appeared in 13 matches and 26 sets, finishing third on the team with 76 assists. Before joining Maryland, Sokol earned American Athletic Conference Setter of the Week honors on Nov. 8, 2024, after totaling 60 assists and 24 digs across matches against Tulsa and Wichita State.
