Terps Set to Attend Big Ten Volleyball Media Days on Monday

CHICAGO, IL – Maryland volleyball will travel to Chicago on Sunday for the 2026 Big Ten Volleyball Media Days. All 18 conference programs will participate in the annual event on Monday, Aug. 3, at the Big Ten Network Headquarters and the InterContinental Chicago Hotel.
Ninth-year head coach Adam Hughes will represent the Terrapins alongside senior outside hitter Sydney Bryant and senior setter Annika Sokol.
Big Ten Network will provide live coverage throughout the day. Maryland will appear first during its press conference from 2:50-3:10 p.m. CT, when Hughes and the student-athletes will meet with local and national media following opening remarks from moderator Sloane Martin.
The Terrapins will return to the network's main studio from 5:20-5:40 p.m. CT, where host Rick Pizzo and analyst Elena Shklyar will interview Hughes, Bryant and Sokol. The segment will preview Maryland's 2026 season, discuss the program's outlook and highlight storylines from around the conference.
