UNIVERSITY PARK, PA -- The Maryland volleyball team (17-6, 5-6 Big Ten) fell to No. 13 Penn State (15-6, 8-3 B1G) by a score of 3-0.
The Terps battled in the first set with
Sam Csire collecting six kills and
Paula Neciporuka getting four of her, but they ultimately fell 25-23. The final two sets were all Nittany Lions as they outscored Maryland 50-30.
Filling The Statsheet
- Csire led the team in kills with 13, with Neciporuka second on the team with 10.
- Rainelle Jones led the match with 7 blocks, adding to her NCAA-best 1.81 blocks per set.
- Sydney Dowler once again led the Terps in assists with 25 and has now crossed the 800 mark on the season. (810)
- All but two Terps who saw action recorded a dig, with freshman Milan Gomillion leading the team with 12.
