COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The University of Maryland wrestling program announced its 2021-22 wrestling schedule on Monday.

Led by head coach Alex Clemsen in his third season, the Terps will wrestle seven nonconference foes, eight Big Ten opponents, and several tournaments. After a season with no fans, Maryland wrestling couldn't be more excited to welcome fans back to XFINITY Pavilion. Check HERE for all info. 

The action begins with the Red vs. Black Wrestle-Offs on Oct. 28 at 7:30 PM, a free event for all to come get their first look at this year's squad. 

The Terps will travel for the first time in early November as they compete at the Clarion Open. 

Maryland's season begins on Friday November 12 against former ACC rival Virginia, where Clemsen also coached for five seasons in the early-2010's. The squad's first road dual will be against another ACC foes as Maryland will compete at Pittsburgh on Nov. 22. 

December 4 is a double-dual day as the Terps take on Drexel and Duke. The Terps host nearby academy Navy one week later on December 11. 

Big Ten season begins on January 7 with a home dual against Penn State and features other home events against Wisconsin, Michigan, and Michigan State. Big Ten road duals feature Indiana, Ohio State, Northwestern, and Rutgers. For more information on the Big Ten schedule release check here. 

The nonconference season resumes in February with back-to-back duals against Columbia and American. 

Postseason action kicks-off March 5 at the Big Ten Championships at the Bob Devaney Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. The NCAA Championships will be in Detroit, Michigan, at Little Caesars Arena from March 17-19.
